Another Sign I need to Cut Back on my Account Activities
Okay, so I’m trolling around “The Internet” today, & stopped over @ my Twitter page (@deviantradio – follow me, please), & one of the people I follow posted a link to a site that looked like it might actually benefit us & our show. The site is called, Mevio. So, I tried to sign up w/ my usual username, but that username was already taken. This is not the first time this has happened, but it still pisses me off when it does. So I begin my search to find out who took it, & how many ways I can punish them for being more dedicated than I am.
As I’m searching, & looking @ this person’s user page (much like a myspace layout), it looks kinda familiar, albeit generic. I’m not finding much information on this guy – he hasn’t friended anyone, or favorited any other shows. He hasn’t posted any pictures or videos of his own. It looks almost as though he created this username & generic page, then left & forgot the site even existed.
The more I think about it, the more I realize, I might know who did this. So, I try to log in using my typical usernames and passwords, but to no avail. So, maybe I don’t know who did it. Back to punishing somebody for stealing my username. . .
Just for shits & giggles, I click on the famous Forget your password? link, & enter the most obvious of email addresses:clyde@deviantradio.com. Thank you, your new password has been emailed to your account.
Awesome! I’ve gone to so many damn social networking sites (yes, even the obscure) & signed up to them, but I don’t even remember them. I need help.
Is there a support site for social networking, web2.0 junkies? Come to think of it, I might already have an account over there. Damnit man! Any ideas on how to de-clutter myself of these?

One day someone will refer to AOL as a gateway drug! And,If this will, one day, be a legit excuse for pissing one’s life and potential away, that person will be me!
